Which size do I need?

The table nobody else publishes. Gas colours follow BS EN 1089-3, the same coding you'll see on the cylinder shoulder.

Buy by the case, not the handful.

Most of our volume goes to bars, bike shops, shooting clubs and homebrew retailers. Price per cartridge drops at every break and we show you the number rather than making you work it out.

The questions we actually get asked

?Threaded or unthreaded — how do I tell?

Look at the neck of your old cartridge, or the socket on your device. Threaded cartridges have a visible screw thread at the tip and are used by most bike inflators, soda syphons and mini kegs. Unthreaded are smooth-necked and pierced by a pin — that's airguns, airsoft and some whippers. If your old one is smooth, buy unthreaded. Still unsure, photograph it and send it to us.

?Will these fit my sparkling water machine?

It depends which generation you have. Older machines use a screw-in cylinder; several newer models use a quick-connect fitting that isn't cross-compatible. Check the base of your current cylinder before ordering, or use the fit finder at the top of this page and tell us your model.

?Is this safe for drinks?

Every cartridge we sell for food and drink use is food grade CO₂, additive code E290, and we can supply batch numbers and a data sheet on request. Industrial CO₂ is a different specification and we don't sell it into drinks lines. If a product is not intended for consumption, the listing says so plainly.

?How do you ship pressurised cartridges?

Under Limited Quantity provisions, in packaging rated for the contents and marked accordingly. That means a normal tracked courier service, next working day, with no hazardous-goods surcharge passed to you. A small number of large cylinders ship on a pallet service instead — those are marked on the product page.

?What if I order the wrong size?

Send the unopened box back within 30 days and we'll cover the return postage and refund in full. We'd rather absorb that than have you buy elsewhere next time. Opened boxes we can't take back, for obvious safety reasons.

?Do you do trade accounts and pallets?

Yes. Bike shops, bars, shooting clubs, homebrew retailers and caterers all buy from us on account. 30-day terms on approval, no minimum order, and a named contact who can see your history. Pallet quotes usually come back the same working day.

Certified, not just claimed

Food grade E290 certification, pressure ratings and safety data sheets available on every drinks line. Ask and we'll email them the same day.

Stock counts you can trust

Live warehouse quantity on every page. If it says six, there are six. We don't take orders on stock we haven't got.

Someone who knows the kit

Ring before 4pm and you'll get a person who can tell you whether a 16g will do your 29er, not a script.
